About Me

I'm Jason Bennison.

I am deeply committed to ensuring justice for individuals affected by irregularities in enforcement procedures, involving Enforcement Agents (bailiffs)

I frequently provide insights on national television and radio regarding this issue. Additionally, I collaborate with investigative documentary producers who delve into bailiffs and their agencies, which routinely flout enforcement regulations as part of their operating procedures.

It is imperative to hold enforcement agents accountable. The most effective approach is to rigorously scrutinise their adherence to enforcement regulations and publicly highlight instances where they fall short.

I advocate for the rights of innocent victims subjected to abuse by bailiffs and enforcement officers. It is crucial to recognise the profound impact enforcement abuse can have on people's lives.

Bringing claims for damages and compensation when bailiffs overstep their authority is a fundamental civil liberty that must be safeguarded. This is particularly critical considering the recurring failure and disillusionment experienced by individuals with the official complaints system for enforcement agents, which, in my view, is inadequate.

Through my helpline, "Dealing with Bailiffs," I offer prompt and accessible guidance to individuals facing non-compliant enforcement actions or abuse, as well as those seeking to apply a court to stop enforcement proceedings. I also assist in pursuing claims to recover controlled goods from bailiffs and seek monetary damages.

In urgent situations, I can facilitate emergency injunctions to retrieve goods and vehicles and stop further monetary seizures by bailiffs.

I also assist in resolving disputes concerning High Court enforcement fees and charges. In cases where enforcement agents have levied excessive fees or fees they are not entitled to recover, I support individuals and businesses in making court applications to reclaim overcharged amounts and associated costs, and, in certain instances, pursue damages.
